KANNAPOLIS, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 2, 1995--Fieldcrest Cannon announced today that John M. Nevin will join the company as Executive Vice-President, Operations, effective Oct. 16, 1995. Mr. Nevin has most recently served as Senior Vice-President of Strategic Services at James River Corporation. Until 1990, he had been employed at International Paper Company where he was most recently Vice-President/Group Executive for the Coated Papers and Pulp Group.
Mr. Nevin's responsibilities at Fieldcrest Cannon will include leading the company's operations to substantially higher levels of productivity and continuing an aggressive modernization program.
