Computer networks in the workplace are becoming more commonplace - and, oftentimes, more complicated.
"You'd think that things would get simpler, except it's getting more complex," said Mark Doenges, a partner in Network Applications Services, a small systems integration firm in Lakewood.
"Putting (networks) together often requires several specialists in each of the pieces-parts," Mr. Doenges said.
A computer network is created by tying several computers together so they can share information. Effectively building and managing a network can be the key to harnessing technology to improve a business' operations, according to network specialists.
