Filipino-owned Golden Swan Paper Products Corp. is investing P100 million for the production of test linerboard and corrugating medium using 100 percent local scrap/waste papers.
The Board of Investments has approved this labor-intensive project, which falls under R.A. 9003 otherwise known as the Solid Waste Management Act. The project will employ 490 people when it starts commercial operation in January next year.
This plant to be located in barangay Bancal in Camona, Cavite has a production capacity of 26,208 metric ton per year of test linerboard and 11,232 metric tone a year of corrugating medium
