BlueBay Asset Management , one of Europe's largest independent managers of fixed-income credit funds, has turned in a solid performance in the last six months. The fact that it has managed to attract new funds, despite difficult trading conditions, highlights the attraction of its business model. It has also avoided any exposure to structured investment vehicles and has no direct long-side exposure to the sub-prime mortgage market.
