BEDMINSTER, N.J., Feb. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- NPS Pharmaceuticals, Inc. announced today that Dr. Tony Coles will be stepping down from his positions as president, chief executive officer and a director effective March 17, 2008 to become president, chief executive officer and a director of Onyx Pharmaceuticals, Inc. . He will be succeeded by NPS executive vice president and chief operating officer Dr. Francois Nader, who will become president and chief executive officer of NPS.
