AUCKLANDOn February 3 a 19-year-old man was brutally beaten in central Auckland and police want to find his attackers. The victim was walking along Bledisloe Lane with three women about 3.30am when they were accosted by two men. The man was punched so hard he was unconscious before he hit the ground. He was then repeatedly kicked in the head before his assailants ran off. Their victim was in a coma for four days and is still in hospital with serious head injuries.
