AN Antrim opticians has been shortlisted for a prestigious industry award.
Taylor & Toal, which is based at High Street in the town, has been shortlisted for the Start-up Business of the Year award organised by Optician magazine.
The award is a testament to the hard work put in by proprietor Gary Toal in his first year of business.
"I always wanted to have my own practice and the opportunity presented itself to open up in Antrim just over a year ago," Gary told the Times.
Although a Belfast native, Gary has endeavoured to integrate into the community as a family orientated business.
