NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 8, 1995--Tower Air, Inc. (Nasdaq National Market: TOWR) today reported a 16.8% increase in total block hours flown in October 1995 to 4,126 hours compared to the year ago figure of 3,532 hours.
For the ten-month period ended Oct. 31, 1995, total block hours flown increased 41.9% to 39,725 hours from 28,001 hours during the same period in 1994.
Scheduled passenger service available seat miles (ASMs) in October 1995 increased 50.5% to 420 million from 279 million in October 1994. For the ten-month period ended October 31, 1995, ASMs increased 28.5% to 3,999 million from 3,113 million in the comparable 1994 period.
