HARROGATE Town remain six points off leaders Kettering Town following Tuesday night's disappointing 1-0 loss at home to Blyth Spartans.
Town could have closed the gap to just three points but flattered to deceive and were ultimately beaten through an 80th minute strike by Philip Bell.
Town approached the game unbeaten in February and despite gale force winds and a low crowd of 438 looked on course for victory following an early spell of pressure.
Danny Holland and Mark Hume were both denied penalty appeals while Holland couldn't get the ball down when presented with a header in the box.
