A 15-year-old Minneapolis boy was charged with second-degree murder in juvenile court on Wednesday in the stabbing of a 70-year-old widow in north Minneapolis last week.
Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman said he'll seek to have the youth certified as an adult and charged in district court.
Two other juveniles who were taken into custody in connection with the stabbing death of Pirkko Gaultney have been released and have not been charged, said Pat Diamond, deputy county attorney.
