TWO West Lancashire entrepreneurs want to prove there's an art to making money from the arts by opening their own recording studio complex.
Professional jazz musician James Hoy and self-employed recording engineer James Furnell have joined forces to form Westgate Studios and open the Engine Rooms, in Skelmersdale.
The Engine Room includes a bistro and art gallery, rehearsal rooms, a recording studio and tuition rooms. Mr Furnell and Mr Hoy have also launched two record labels.
