Meet Holly and Isla, Lancashire's Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) dogs.
They may look like a cute pair, but in danger and terror situations these daredevil dogs will be in the front line.
The latest additions to the USAR team based at Leyland Fire Station were drafted in as part of a Government plan to improve urban rescue resources after the 9/11 terror attack on the Twin Towers in New York.
Holly, nine, played an important role following the rail accident in February last year when a Virgin Pendolino train derailed at Greyrigg, near Kendal, Cumbria.
She is also trained to search for bodies in case of a major act of terrorism.
