WASHINGTON, Nov. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- On October 31, 1995, the Inter- American Investment Corporation ("IIC") signed an agreement with five institutional investors to establish the Latin American Energy and Electricity Fund (FondElec). The US$50 million Fund will focus on making private investments in existing and new power generation and distribution facilities throughout Latin America.
