Article: After 59 years, SeaPak Shrimp extends range to fillets, crab.(Private Label Products Showcase)

SeaPak Shrimp Co., a supplier of packaged frozen shrimp products to the USA market since 1948, has added premium fish fillets and Maryland-style crab cakes to its product line.

In December the St. Simons Island, Georgia-based packer introduced SeaPak Herb Butter Salmon and SeaPak Artichoke Pesto Tilapia. A month later it began rolling out the crab cakes.

"Most prepared fish fillets in stores today are square in shape because they are cut from giant blocks of frozen fish meat," explained Jamie McKeon, vice president of marketing for parent company Rich Products Corporation.
