The Average Residential Customer Will Pay about $10 More a Month

PHILADELPHIA -- PECO today announced that it will increase its overall price for gas service by 7.8 percent for the average residential bill beginning March 1, 2008 due mainly to under collections for gas supply costs. PECO serves 480,000 suburban gas customers in southeastern Pennsylvania.

PECO's natural gas rates are made up of two main parts - the delivery and service charges and the commodity charge:
