Bury St Edmunds 1st XI 1,
City of Peterborough 2nd XI 1
Bury began well against the league-leaders and applied early pressure.
The hosts almost took an early lead when Andreou hit the post with a reverse stick.
Following the break, Bury looked a little on edge and Peterborough broke the deadlock after being awarded a penalty flick.
Bury rallied and, after a fine move, Fry passed the ball to Skelton who scored to level the scores.
The home team were reduced to 10 men when Andreou received a yellow card and, as a result, Bury found themselves under sustained pressure.
