A PUBLIC consultation exercise has been launched to gauge reaction to plans to tackle the shortage of pitches for gipsies and travellers in the region.
The East of England Regional Assembly (EERA) has ruled that West Norfolk will have to provide a further 53 pitches by 2011 in a bid to increase the number of legal places offering decent facilities and access to public services.
The Government Office for the East of England (GO-East) is leading the consultation process and is keen for members of the public, including gipsies and travellers, to have their say.
