A 253-foot fishing boat from Seattle caught fire northeast of Alaska's Dutch Harbor Tuesday night, but a Coast Guard spokesman said no injuries were immediately reported while some of the crew remained onboard to fight the blaze.
The vessel is owned by Glacier Fish Co. and had 106 crew members on board, according to the Coast Guard.
More than 90 members of the crew were evacuated to nearby vessels and nearly a dozen other people from other ships were working to extinguish the fire about 11:30 p.m., a Coast Guard spokesman said.
