MANATI, Puerto Rico, Oct. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- DuPont Merck Pharma announced today that they have signed an agreement with the Swiss pharmaceutical company Ares-Serono to contract manufacture biotechnology products at The DuPont Merck Pharma facility in Manati. The agreement is expected to produce over 45 new jobs over the next several years.
The first phase of the agreement will utilize existing manufacturing capacity at the DuPont Merck Pharma plant in Manati to produce "Gonal-F", Ares-Serono's recombinant human follicle stimulating hormone used in the treatment of infertility.
