EMERYVILLE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 11, 1995--Robert Carrau, chairman of the Gordon Biersch Brewing Company, has announced the addition to the company's board of directors, renowned retail food industry executive Lawrence Del Santo, chairman and chief executive officer of The Vons Companies.
Previously, Del Santo guided the American Stores Company as senior executive vice president and chief operating officer.
