(NYSE:CUM) of the United States and China National Heavy Duty Truck Corporation (CNHTC) was formally dedicated today at ceremonies in Beijing. Cummins is a leading worldwide producer of diesel engines and CNHTC is China's largest manufacturer of heavy-duty trucks. Production under the new 50/50 joint venture is expected to yield at least 10,000 units annually by the year 2000.
