WASHINGTON _ NATO's Bosnia peace force will be made up of one British, one French and one American division and will have an impressive contingent of tanks and armored vehicles in its vanguard, the Pentagon said Thursday.
Many of the estimated 25,000 American troops will be shipped in by rail from the north, military briefers said. The troops are expected to remain in Bosnia for roughly one year, NATO officials say.
