In 1987, the Hudson Institute issued its Workforce 2000 report. The report predicted that by the year 2000, two-thirds of the workforce would consist of people who weren't white males. Since that prediction was made, American industry has been trying to prepare for this new reality. The most common tactic used to date has been diversity training. AT&T Dupont, and Motorola have vigorously pursued diversity training, but it is being applied by more than just American corporate giants.
