TOKYO, March 3 Asia Pulse - Leading meal caterers Shidax Corp. (TSE:4837) and Leoc Japan Co. (TSE:2366) are expected to post higher group pretax profits for the year ending in March, thanks partly to a string of mergers and acquisitions.
Shidax's pretax profit is seen climbing 26 per cent to a record 10 billion yen (US$95.8 million).
It was helped by turning Daishinto Inc. (TSE:9785) into a group subsidiary last March. The car fleet management firm is seen posting a pretax profit of 3.8 billion yen, an uptick of 5 per cent.
