Article: CELLTECH'S CDP 571 SHOWS THERAPEUTIC BENEFIT IN CROHN'S DISEASE

SLOUGH, England, Nov. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Celltech Therapeutics (London Stock Exchange: CTP) announced today that it has successfully completed a Phase II clinical trial of its genetically engineered human antibody CDP 571 in patients with Crohn's disease, a serious inflammatory bowel disorder. A significant reduction in disease activity was observed in patients treated with the drug.
