And while the Plasma is a very capable gaming machine, its Core 2 Quad processor (overclocked to 3GHz), 2GB of DDR2 RAM, and dual 768MB nVidia GeForce 8800 GTX graphics cards (in a Scalable Link Interface configuration) didn't deliver the oomph we expected for the price. You can't even play DirectX 10 (DX10) games on it, since its OS--Windows XP Professional--doesn't handle the standard.
