Mar 03, 2008 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- On 29 February 2008, Australian-listed specialist furniture group, Inventis, posted a $A23.5 million interim loss. The company attributed this to operating losses and write-downs at its New Zealand aviation operation. Meanwhile, Australian Wine Industries has recorded a $A2.4 million loss, while Elemental Explorations achieved a $A640,778 net loss for the six months to 31 December 2007. Yarn manufacturer, Mesbon China Nylon, has declared a 71 per cent rise in net profit.
