BANNED tennis star Martina Hingis is coming out of retirement this summer to play the Liverpool International.
Tournament organiser Anders Borg has secured a major coup in persuading the five-time Grand Slam winner and former world number one to feature in the legends line up at Calderstones Park in June.
The one-time tennis prodigy, still only 27, was handed a two-year ban in January after testing positive for a metabolite of cocaine while competing at Wimbledon last year.
