RESIDENTS in Chesterfield will have to pay an average increase of 8p a week towards local services.
Chesterfield Council is increasing its council tax bills by 4.8 per cent from April but the overall rise will be 3.76 per cent.
The increase includes rises of 3.5 per cent in the amount charged by Derbyshire County Council, 4.6 per cent by police and 4 per cent by the fire service.
