HANOI, March 5 Asia Pulse - Hyundai Vinashin Shipyard (HVS) has begun upgrading an auto liner for Norwegian company Hoegh Autoliner.

The Hoegh Detroit is the first among ten vessels that will be revamped by HVS in 2008 and 2009.

The work on the liner, built in the Republic of Korea (RoK) in 2006, aims to increase its containing capacity from 6,519 to 8,005 autos.
