Commissioners of Sandoval County, N.M., plan a closed meeting Thursday to discuss a threatened lawsuit seeking to uncover the fee paid to the bond counsel on an $8 billion revenue bond deal.
The Albuquerque Journal, the New Mexico Foundation for Open Government, and The Bond Buyer last month filed open records requests to find out how much was paid to the county's bond counsel, Tom Hughes, for his work on an $8 billion industrial revenue bond issue for Intel Corp.
