Borough blueprint calls for Hayling to share strain of 6,301 new houses in next two decades
HAYLING is likely to have to accommodate more than 300 new homes by the year 2026 - as part of a total of 6,301 properties that Havant Borough Council will have to grant planning permission for to meet government targets.
Havant councillors approved a draft consultation document which will become the borough's planning blueprint for the next 20 years, on January 9.
But the original document showing where new homes will be built in Waterlooville, Havant, Emsworth and Hayling will be amended removing the guidance figures for the number of new homes, when ...
