This is quite obviously a textbook for geography majors or Asian Studies graduate students in the Francophone countries; it's not what is known as a book for "tous publics," destined for general consumption. Hence, its overall readership is necessarily limited (unless a translation in English comes up), and it's a pity since there is relatively little interest for Southeast Asian regional affairs in Francophone countries to begin with.
