Adam Webb, a lecturer at Harvard University, whose book is actually an offshoot of his dissertation for Princeton University, must thank his publisher, Routledge, for the packaging of his product. Without even describing in detail the eye-catching collage of photos representing extremism and global capitalism that stand side by side on the cover, the title alone is attractive enough, and anyone interested in anything remotely related to globalization or the so-called culture or even cultural war will be tempted to at least hold the book and examine its contents.
