Something's missing
In the Editor's View article titled "Choices not yet clear'' [Jan. 21], four presidential candidates on each side of the aisle were compared regarding their concern for the environment. But there was a glaring omission. There is one candidate who wishes to end immunities for polluters and restore a strict tort-based legal remedy. Ron Paul is the only candidate among both Republicans and Democrats who has a workable solution to the emissions problem.
Better still, a strict property-based solution doesn't require another clumsy federal bureaucracy that tends to overstep its enumerated powers. When courts are driven by special interests, ...
