IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 16, 1995--The world's highest capacity 2.5-inch slimline hard disk drive was introduced Monday by Toshiba America Information Systems Inc., Disk Products Division (TAIS DPD).

The drive, the MK-1301MAV, offers a capacity of 1.35GB and a fast 13ms average seek time in a small 0.5-inch high (12.7mm), 2.5-inch form factor.
