DOG lovers from across the county will be watching proudly as their pedigree pals strut their stuff at Crufts.
More than 100 dog owners from the north of the county will be at Birmingham's NEC for the annual show, which starts today, and they are all hoping to win one of the coveted prize rosettes for Best in Breed.
It takes a lot of dedication to show at Crufts, although Patricia Beech from Kettering is used to it, having been a regular for many years.
The 54-year-old said: "It is a very hectic day. I have to get up at two or three o'clock in the morning. I always start preparing the dogs the day before.
