YET another crash at Desertmartin's notorious 'accident corner' has brought a call for fixed cameras to be positioned in the South Derry village.
Roads Service have carried out major improvements to the corner but the local Community Group are demanding the provision of cameras "before there's a fatality."
And he said the group was planning to raise the matter at the next meeting of Magherafelt District Policing Partnership on April 14.
"It's a speed track and it is only a matter of time before somebody is killed in Desertmartin," said David Best, chairman of the Community Group.
