The glow is off the golden guy, Sen. Barack Obama, while Sen. Hillary Clinton, aiming to make her own comeback legend, is solidly back in the Democratic presidential primary race.
Suddenly the "Yes we can" man is getting whacked by bad press: a sweetheart land deal from a big donor; Michelle Obama's foot-in-mouth disease; trouble with the truth about an adviser's secret meeting with a Canadian official.
The latter was a corker. Obama personally denied it ever occurred. Then a memo from the Canadian surfaced, confirming the meeting and suggesting that Obama's adviser implied that the candidate's anti-NAFTA talk was ...
