AS a child Alex Smith remembers vividly what he wanted to be when he grew up.

It was a choice of three things actually - a chef, a children's book illustrator or a rabbit.

He is not sure where the rabbit comes into it, he did not have one of his own and neither did his pals. Maybe the twitchy ears and fluffy tail appealed.

In the end Alex did achieve one of those ambitions and he has even managed to sneak a snippet of another in there too.
