Dennis Franz is looking for trouble.
Not for him, personally, but for Detective Andy Sipowicz, his lovable, unmade-bed-of-a-character on ABC's ``NYPD Blue.'' As Steven Bochco's hit drama opens its third season on Tuesday, Sipowicz is a happy, on-the-wagon newlywed.
So what's the menace, Dennis?
``They've made an uncomfortable character comfortable,'' says Franz, who took the plunge with assistant D.A. Sylvia Costas (Sharon Lawrence) at the end of last season. ``I don't want to make him too comfortable and lose the dangerous element to his makeup _ his edge.''
