A PATHOLOGIST told an inquest she had been unable to exactly determine what killed a man who died in an ambulance on the way to hospital.
Stanley Turner (46), of Vine Street, Stamford, died after being found drunk outside the Morrisons supermarket in the town on June 13 last year.
Dr Suzannah Lishman, the consultant pathologist who performed a post-mortem examination on his body, said she could not precisely say what led to the man's death.
But she said years of alcoholism had left his liver fatty, "massively enlarged" and weighing 5kgs - three or four times the expected weight. His heart was also bigger than normal, but showed no other ...
