TREVOSE, Pa., Nov. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Betz Laboratories, Inc. (NYSE: BTL) announced today the acquisition of the Misan Group. Misan, with headquarters in Naples, Italy, and subsidiaries in Spain and Portugal, has over 30 years experience in the industrial water, paper process and fuel oil treatment business and has projected 1995 net sales of approximately $20 million USD (32 billion Lit). Details of the cash transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition further strengthens Betz' market position and presence in the European region and supports the company's strategic plan to become the preeminent global company in the water and process treatment business.
