This month's Home for the Holidays offers the intriguing combination of Holly Hunter directed by Jodie Foster. The movie is the story of a single mom, played by Hunter, who strives to communicate with the different members of her eccentric family during a Thanksgiving weekend. Typical for both actress and director, it's one of those stories that addresses something everyone can relate to. When they met recently, they talked about this film struck a nerve with them individually, about some of their needs and drives, and about the connection between acting, directing, and heeling.
