While the new Deere 850C preserves the hydrostatic heart of its predecessor, this new dozer is remarkably more comfortable to control, more productive, and simpler to service than the 850B
During the week of July 17th, in hot, humid Illinois weather, Construction Equipment worked with the John Deere Industrial Equipment Co. to evaluate the new 850C crawler dozer against its predecessor, the venerable 850B. We found the technical refinement of the new dozer impressive, and its performance and serviceability a big step ahead of the machine it replaces.
