Wakefield Wildcats 22
Hull KR 20
WILDCATS joined four teams on four points vying for a top-six spot in Super League with this win.
But boy did they cause a few heart attacks along the way.
On the back of the previous week's improved performance in defeat at St Helens, Wildcats played a controlled first-half game with Jamie Rooney and Danny Brough pinning Rovers back deep in their own territory.
And Wildcats were good value for their 16-8 half-time lead.
Centre Ryan Atkins claimed the first touchdown with his third try of the season and hooker Sam Obst was awarded a penalty try just before half-time.
