It was a classy goodbye to a classy guy. Old Hollywood packed the historic Pantages Theater on Thursday morning to say goodbye to Johnny Grant.
From the mayor of Los Angeles and some of the biggest female stars of yesteryear to the waiters at Musso & Frank Grill, everybody wanted to pay one last tribute to the honorary mayor of Hollywood, who died Jan. 9 at age 84.
"Johnny didn't want a memorial service," said actress Angie Dickenson, looking out at an audience of more than 500. "This is what he wanted."
