To the Editor:
I found Etzel Cardena's review of my coedited book The Survival of Human Consciousness: Essays on the Possibility of Life after Death (JP, 70, pp. 179-185) to be a reasonable and fair evaluation of most of the chapters. However, some of his comments and views are unfounded or incomplete. It is clear that, in some cases, Mr. Cardena is unaware of the circumstances pertaining to the preparation of the book, and on other issues he is rather casual in his criticisms, or misleading in his approach. I therefore find some of his statements considerably and problematically misrepresent the book. I would like to address these concerns.
