MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 19, 1995--Trident Microsystems, Inc. (Nasdaq:TRID) today announced record sales for the first quarter of fiscal 1996 of $36,566,000, an increase of 92 percent from $19,053,000 for the first quarter of the prior fiscal year, and an increase of 18 percent from $31,082,000 for the prior quarter.
Net income for the first quarter of fiscal 1996 was $4,505,000 or $0.34 per share, compared to net income of $349,000 or $0.03 per share for the first quarter of the prior fiscal year, and $2,596,000 or $0.20 per share for the prior quarter.
