Swedish bed and mattress manufacturer Hilding Anders AB said on Tuesday (11 March) that it has agreed to acquire the Swiss bedding company Happy AG for an undisclosed sum.

Happy, one of the leading bed and mattress manufacturers in Switzerland, reported sales of SEK152m in 2007. The company manufactures the Happy Systems brand in the medium segment and co-branded products for key customers. Happy also supplies beds to hotels in Switzerland.
